In May 2025 Cllr Chris Goldson was elected Chair of North Kesteven District Council. As part of his term of office, his team were asked to nominate a charity in line with his chosen theme of “Animal Allies: Strengthening Community Ties”. We were delighted to find that Hollies Animal Rehoming Trust had been nominated as the charity of the year, and on 14 May, our Fundraising Co-ordinator was presented with a cheque for £4,011.03. This really will make a massive difference to us as a charity and our thanks go to everyone at North Kesteven District Council for their efforts in raising such a staggering amount.
